We took a long weekend to visit my mother on her birthweek and the Tug Hill Plateau is so pretty this time of year. Just in case you didn't know, I was brought up in a place called Point Rock in Upstate New York. When I say Upstate - I don't mean what those
|the symmetry and simple form of this caught Tessa's eye - nice huh?!|
Andddddd - on the last random note, I did manage to get the mirror frame done AND mailed to C&T Publishing in time. I am glad I added the hand stitching. It added a lot to it - plus I like the free motion drawing in contrast to the unevenness of the hand stitching (notice I manage to describe my art piece without that over used art world word juxtaposition). It was fun trying out some experimenting but I really do need to get my hands on some fall cotton! Between traveling this week, working 40 hrs and Tessa's unending play practice my studio is becoming a stranger to me. Sighhhh - next week will be different!
