Am I the only one that didn't know that there is a huge resource of fabulous free fonts out there? And when I say huge resource - I'm talkin' sites that have thousands and thousands of them. So BE WARNED! Unless you have a couple of hours to kill don't go exploring!
That's exactly what happen to me when I was on the look out for just the right font for the background lettering of Signs, Signs at Fontspace. I mean - I only have the lettering "Luke 21:25" to reproduce so you wouldn't think that would be so hard to decide on. Of course not. I mean with all these fabulous fonts how is a girl suppose to make up her mind?? Not to mention they are so easily used! All you do is click on them - put in your sample lettering and you can see what it would look like. Then if you want to download - you just click "download" - then "install" - Click on the program file and guess what?? It shows up in the font section of your word program. Cool huh?!?So I thought I would let you weigh in what fonts I should use! Just leave a comment on your opinion. Now I can't promise to pick the font that you all chose - but at least I'll get an idea of what everyone else thinks!
Ohhh and yeah - I really have been stitching all week - Block 2 is nearly done and three is ready to start! I found out this week that the due date for the Erie Art Museum's Spring show is March 24th so I thought I better get a move on with this project!

I was just thinking about this scripture yesterday. I hate to watch news anymore. I like # 5.
Since you are going for that graffiti look, I think #6 looks and feels the most like that.
So my question to you -- if you want a messy, irregular, handwritten, not-very-legible look, why not just write it yourself?
I like #5 as well. Has a slight graffiti look to it, but is not so forceful as #6. Have fun!

I wqs thinking #4 for actual legibility with a hand written quality - but then I saw Kathy Loomis' comment and thought pfssssht - she's hit the nail on the head, as uusal.
I actually like #7. It is readable but doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Absolutely write it yourself! Can't beat the uniqueness of your own lettering.
Number 6 looks like graffiti but number 7 looks like it has been on the wall for a long time.
Personally I love fonts and even get a font newsletter! It is more like and intro to new fonts. It really is a big, big section of the graphic art industry.
I like font no.6...very unique and interesting.

I think I like font #2.
#7 is my favorite disregarding the use you plan. I am fairly sure this font will also download into Photoshop Elements at the same time it goes into Word.
