Holiday Blessings on Off the Wall Friday

I've been wanting to make a decent Christmas quilt for a while now but haven't found the right vibe for one.  I've made two before and never really "loved" them.  I want to find a design that will stand the test of time and will age well. Maybe one that is seasonal rather than holiday.  The funny thing is that I never think about it till it's Christmas and then it's too late.  I don't know...maybe it's because I I just haven't found the right one yet!  hmmmm...anyway since it's been a while since I did an inspirational post here are some ideas from my files.

What are your ideas for a Christmas Wallhanging?

I'm not a seasonal decorator, but this year I was inspired to dig out a decades-old kit I had in my stash...and I made a small nativity scene. I don't know how to insert a photo here...but you can see it in my post from last week here: http://www.margaretblank.com/2021/12/everything-old-is-new-again.html

Merry Christmas!

Hi Nina-Marie, my favourite Christmas wall hanging is an improv piece with scraps but one really nice image within it. Good luck and have a great holiday season!

I have three Christmas wall hangings that I get out every year. I made them several years ago when I was doing traditional piecing and hand quilting. I love seeing them every year. I have to take down paintings or other quilts make room for them.
Merry Christmas and thanks for keeping us all connected!
