Off the Wall Friday - A Word From Andy

Because I've been under the weather all week - I'll just act as host today!  But  as encouragement, I still thought I would share some of my favorite quotes from my pinterest boards.  I find myself turning to them time and time again for inspiration.

These are from one of my favorite Pennsylvanian Artists - Andy Warhol.  If you haven't gotten a chance to visit the Andy Warhol  Museum in Pittsburgh, I would highly suggest it.

Don't worry, with a little rest, I'll be good as new!  I have a ton to get done in my studio!

So what have you been up to creatively?

Sorry to hear you have been under the weather. I have been sick, too. Hard to work on quilting when you don't feel well. I am from Pittsburgh. Several years ago on a very cold and windy day we walked across the bridge from downtown to the museum. You can imagine how cold that was walking across a bridge in Pittsburgh in the winter. The museum was great and he was quite a character!

A Long time ago, I did believe that what I made was art and it didn't matter about what other people thought of it, and it is only recently -- since this year began that I have regained that perspective! Thanks for the A.Warhol quote! I think it helps me along the way!

Do you have any experience with blog posts disappearing? I posted yesterday and linked up here. I know the post was there. Today this post and lots of older posts have disappeared. Just wondered if you or any of your readers have any suggestions.
