The November Blues - Off the Wall Friday

Novembers are hard.  Between the clocks changing, the cloudy Lake Erie days and my allergies going wild, the month never amounts to me being very creative.  Looking at the mass of hand dyes on my studio floor, it does seem that I've been busy.  Looks can be deceiving though.  I think there is more mess then actual progress.

Still there is progress.  And let's face it - before Off the Wall Fridays - I NEVER got anything done in November.  So that's something too!

So  - hopefully you're feeling more creative then me!

So what have you been up to creatively?

  3. I haven't done much since coming back from Houston. I don't know if it's the November blues or just getting back into the creative grove.
Thanks so much for doing Off the Wall Friday. It does spur me on.

  4. I like what I see on your wall. It's good to know that many of us feel the same way about November.

  5. I love fall, but I'm at a spot right now in a new big project where there isn't anything that can be done in short periods of time- no sit down and quilt for ten minutes tasks. When I need large chunks of clear brain time, progress slows to a halt so I understand! At least you have beautiful fabrics :)

  6. November is not my favorite month either. Just like Tuesdays are my least favorite day of the week. Have fun playing with that box of hand dyes!

  7. Thank you for the button! I've added it to my blog. November is good for me, rainy days are nice to work inside with a hot cup of cocoa. After the leaves are raked that is. I like the progress on your "Fall" project. Is that all hand dyed fabric? It is luscious. AMY amysetcetera.blogspot.com

  9. I'm not very prolific this November. I'm intrigued with your current in progress piece. It really says November to me!

  10. I hear you! I went to bed last night at 10:30 which is unheard of, and slept until 7:15a! I hope you can get some sleep, it seemed to have recalibrated me! And agree all the colors of what you have up are fitting for the season.

  13. About the feeling of not much progress... those times can be rich with potential even if we don't realize it at the time!
