I'm cu...Nina,
I wish I could touch the cow...:)
I'm curious how you made the cloud and fence (also for Jan cow). Did you paint them or is it just the fabric's pattern?hennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08770771751560378668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4364828980944336570.post-74593009174943411012009-11-10T10:20:33.371-05:002009-11-10T10:20:33.371-05:00Hi Nina-Marie - The cow and umbrella are great. Your daughter is going to be getting the greatest gift when you are done with this.

A thought about fusing - if you want to fuse without so much flatness, draw each piece on your paper-backed fusible and cut out the centers just leaving enough (about 1/2 inch) so there is a little beyond your drawn line and about 1/4 inch inside. That will be all the fusible you'll need to secure your piece. Then you have the advantage of fused non-fraying edges but not a lot of fusible web. I didn't say this very well so contact me if I've made it confusing!Roberta Ranneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01856425999385317976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4364828980944336570.post-78867932339218546022009-11-10T08:13:23.415-05:002009-11-10T08:13:23.415-05:00I love the quilt. T...April Cow is fabulous!! Very nice umbrella too!
That flat, almost hard look is why I never tried fusible. I knew it would make things so much easier when it came to applique, but like the softer look. Too bad there's not a fusible that later washes out -- or, I wonder, is there?Cathihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02531639422553980153noreply@blogger.com
